BIG! 41X54"

As Tom Hanks said, all I want to do is be BIG. Well I did it here. Sorry about the quality, my blackberry is a little dusty but this is my photo of Delia which is compiled of 36 6X9 photos to make one giant photo. It already got an honorable mention at a local show so we'll see where it goes off too.

Some more...

Feel the Now.

I will keep on updating Feel the Now Photos whether it be from the past or more recent. A decent amount of my photography is coming from them as of right now. I am finding a new love to documenting bands as in Shows and the times they spend together. These are from a show in Allentown, PA.

Like a Reluctant.

Thoughts and more thoughts are running through my mind right now. I can not sort them nor organize them. This is a way to relive them. But as I was coming home tonight, driving down Amwell with Bob, I began to think about the town that I/we live in. Hillsborough. Most people around my age believe this is the lamest town known to man. I ask you to take a drive down Amwell headed toward 206 passing the Racquet Ball Club with a damn good song on and re think the town you live in. The street lights represent the entrance to Rt 206 as the gates to memories and beliefs that we all have come to learn. Yeah, this town does suck at times, but relapse, relapse into the memories that have become upon us. Maybe I am preaching or just in a crazy mood but whatever. You can take my talk and think or blow it off. I don't care what you do with it but I thank you for your time of actually reading. Have fun. Live in the moment and take time slow with your closet friends to make it memorable. Majorsk.

Here I am, So glad you are.

So it has been a little while but don't worry I have not forgot! This past weekend has been a gnarly one. With w e a t h e r b o x on Thursday night, then parents gone all weekend, combined with amazing weather in Jersey, it has been a long weekend to remember.
I love this weather. I ride my bike everywhere, skateboard, and be happy to be a part of mother nature and her beauty. Riding my bike around in the warm air all around brings smiles to my face and life. Its funny how the weather can change people's moods. Yeah, I know there are some people out there who don't care about the weather but man, its beautiful!
But back to Thursday night, Weatherbox was absolutely amazing. I felt as if I was back at Hamilton St. 7 years ago. The dudes in the band are incredibly talented and I was fortunate to hang out with most of them for part of the night. They truly dropped my jaw in awe and ever since then, I have not put down their 12" vinyl. I really would love to end this blog with a piece that I have been working on but due to the people in it and what's in it I can not. It's unfortunate of how judgmental our society is which is the reason why I can not post this specific photo.
Maybe one day...but for now here are some photos of some great friends and the awesome nights you spend with them.

Apple.

Today, (reminds me of the start of an fml) I was in the city apprenticing with a fashion photographer, Michael Keel, for the first time. It went pretty well and I met a bunch of different and interesting people who are full fled into the industry. I'm excited to see how everything will turn out and continue on.
I find it funny how when you go into the city, alone, and with a set plan to do something you feel like a true New Yorker. You put yourself into a trance of feeling like a native of the city. It gives you a fun feeling, an imaginative one. You think all the others who look like you with the same game plan and facial expression that they are New Yorkers as well. But are they? No one may ever know. They're most likely in the same situation as you.
My favorite part about commuting to the city is the train. I don't like the train rides or the obnoxious conductor yelling SEACAUCUS or METUCHEN! My favorite part is rush hour and the people who ride the train at that time. Starring at the boarding screens waiting for it to show the track for the NE Coor to Trenton to pop up. Then bang, everyone sprints to that train. Its a weird adrenaline rush in a way. Once aboard the train, if your alone, you try and find an empty two seater so that you can put your bag next to you and be alone. However, during rush hour every seat is needed. But EVERYONE hates sitting next to a stranger, especially you+a stranger in a two seater. That equals almost a taboo. I feel like I am in 2nd grade again and on the bus where every kid doesn't want to sit with someone they don't know. You stop, look around, get nervous, then finally sit with a stranger in an awkward way. Why does it have to be that way? We all have something in common. Were all humans and we all kill the earth in some sort of way.

FEEL THE NOW.

Feel the Now has moved their practices to a new location so I thought it was appropiate to take some new photos today. I'm still here and each song blows me away more and more. Peep their JAMS and FEEL THE NOW.

Some B&W's

Tonight, my good friend Robert Zehnder and I set up our studio/work stations up in his basement and it is a great feeling. We have a great working station with Mac's, Epson Scanner, Ink Jet Printer, Monitors and good vibes. We were messing around with scanning in some of my negatives from two different projects that I was assigned in my Advanced Photography class.

Back At the Barnes.

Once again I find myself back at Barnes & Noble. I enjoy the atmosphere here, I am able to get my work done whether it be emails or school shit. Throwing the I-Pod on Weatherbox (Which I am going to go see on March 4th...so stoked!) jam out and drink some damn good Java. The only shitty part is that today its raining, cold, and bleak. Good for creative mind yet very depressing to me.
On the flip side I will be in New York City on Friday to meet with Michael Keel who is a expert fashion photography in the worlds illest city. This Nor' Easter better not be as bad as their saying so that I can 100% go and meet him. Finally some things are becoming positive.
I took some interesting self portraits which I will (hopefully) upload later and post. Yesterday, I got some good news from Savannah College of Art and Design about more money for me to attend. But as in my household college news always turns to dog crap and fight between my parents. Same old things different day.
Although I was in a crappy mood last night due to the arguing, David Paul Larson gave me a call which I was really stoked on. He is such an interesting and creative individual. True inspiration to me. He gave me some good motivational advice and to keep my head high which really helps me out.

Research, Network, Research, Network...

Spending the rest of my afternoon/life in Barnes & Noble trying to create a great, happy future for myself. Thank god for the Macchiatos.

Here we go...

Every time I come to my blog, a month later I always say "now its time to get serious"...yet I never do. But I will start posting weekly now (I hope). Other than my reliability to maintain my blog, I have been busy. I was accepted into Savannah College of Art and Design, School of Visual Arts, and Rochester Institute of Technology. I wasn't gonna say on my blog that I got rejected from the School Art Institute of Chicago, but whatever. Life will take you places that is good for you even though at the time it seems like it doesn't.

I could go in for hours about that sort of stuff, but I won't. Lately, I have been trying to take lots of photos. Recently I have been taking photos for Feel the Now, Next Generation (Dayne & Den-Z) and a local town club.

Den-Z was recently signed to DJ Khaleds productions so give them a listen and give it for them since they drop the dirtiest beats and rhymes Hillsborough has ever heard.

Ill post back soon.

Heres a sneak preview on some recent work.

After a Month or Two...or maybe Three.

I am awful at sticking with things. Whether it be remembering days to work at my Toy Store job or homework. Thank god for my BlackBerry to tell me things. But I have been recently working with a new good friend of mine named Alek Rost. Alek is a Junior at Savannah College of Art and Design and has been doing some pretty spectacular work over the years.

Recently, he contacted me about a Model Management Company that he is starting up. After a few weeks of planning and shit we got down to work. I photographed his good friend Chris (Ironic eh?). Anyways here are some photos from the 4 hour long, snow storm weather photo shoot.

Check out Alek's work at: www.alekrost.com
